Angel Oak

After a long, long, LONG, LOOOONNGG hiatus in Jacksonville Thursday morning we finally got back on the road to continue our journey northward.

Running from the oppressive summer heat of Florida our first stop was Savannah Georgia, which we discovered to have a heat almost as unbearable as the heat that we had left a few hours south, and so after only a night we continued our way North.

Our first major stop was at the Angel Oak tree in South Carolina. This stunning 1,000 year old oak tree has an energy you can feel before you even get all of the way to it. It has a presence that takes up the entire area. And once you get to the tree, it's beautiful energy fills you up with so much joy and love.

This is a place I will come back and visit again and again in my life.  A place that I can't describe with words.

Later we explored charleston some, and then that night we stopped at a planet fitness for showers. Overall, vanlife win. On to more adventures.
